Why choose a Nitrile Artificial Vagina instead of latex?
Our A.V. is made of 100% latex-free Medical Grade Nitrile. This offers three key advantages: it is completely hypoallergenic (preventing reactions in the stallion), it has greater durability than traditional rubber, and it retains internal temperature for longer, optimizing the collection process.
Do I need to use a disposable liner with this model?
It's not necessary. The nitrile design allows it to be used directly on the stallion without the need for an additional liner. However, if you need to collect from different stallions in the same session, it is compatible with the use of palpation sleeves to speed up the process.
What are the dimensions of the artificial vagina?
The standard model is 54 cm long and has an inner diameter of 13 cm. If you require specific measurements for your specimens, we can custom-make it.

What does the purchase kit include?
The CRÍA system is comprehensive. It includes an Artificial Vagina (with a double valve), a polylone outer sleeve with UV filter and non-slip rubber, a protective bag, and a professional carrying case.
USAGE AND PREPARATION
What temperature should I prepare the water to?
Since nitrile retains temperature for longer, preparation varies according to the climate to reach the ideal internal temperature of 37°C.
In Summer: We recommend filling with water at 44°C - 45°C.
In Winter: We recommend filling with water at approximately 47°C. Always check the final temperature before collection.
How does the valve system work?
The unit features a double valve. The air valve is "non-return," allowing for precise adjustment of the desired internal pressure. The drain valve is wide for quick emptying and interior drying.
Is it compatible with any collecting cup?
Yes, the base design accommodates any standard collection cup or collection bag available on the market
What products can I use to disinfect it?
Our V.A. is "Fully Washable". You can use common products such as chlorine, alcohol, and quaternary ammonium for disinfection.
